I was happy with the boot tray I received. Great quality and very sturdy.

Using it as a boot tray:It assumes this duty with ease. It is wide enough to hold 3 pair of shoes, as long as all three are not adult sized winter boots. It can hold two pair of boots and one pair of shoes just fine. If you are more than a size 14 or so, you could probably reduce that number to two, as you would have to place the boots in the tray long-ways. It allows the snow on the boots to melt off and after several days of use, there is enough water in the tray to dump it outside.Using it as a water-jug holder:My wife in I live in a small cabin (320 SF) in Alaska. We carry our drinking water in jugs (usually ~5 gallons). Generally we keep about 50 gallons of water on hand, but 40 of those gallons are kept outside and freeze solid. I bought a second tray to use as a buffer for our water supply. Every time a water jug is emptied, I bring another one inside to start thawing. It usually takes a couple days for it to thaw completely, so by the time that jug is next in line, it is usually thawed out. It is perfectly sized to fit two water jugs in the 4-7 gallon range. Frozen water jugs tend to condense a lot more water than boots, but the tray is deep enough that it is never an issue. The freezing temperatures of the water being stored on it have never caused any issues with the plastic tray.Using it as a garden tray:In the summer, we take our shoes off outside, so the boot tray gets to serve as a place to store our indoor potted plants on a table with lots of sunlight. That way, if we over-water and the pot decides to leak all over the place, all the water/dirt/leaves are contained on this tray.Overall, I am thrilled with this product and came to write this review because I'll probably be getting a third tray soon.

The tray is a good size- it holds, in our case, 2 pairs of wellies and a pair of crocs. It’s easy to clean, I just run it under an outdoor tap if needed, and keeps all the mud that falls from our boots, safely contained.

My cats kept dropping food into their water bowl when I had their food and water together on a normal size pet food tray. They would lift their heads out of the food bowl to chew, and food would drop out of their mouth into the water bowl - and their water bowl kept getting really nasty. I got this so that I could separate the water bowl and the food bowl. It works perfectly! Food is at one end and water at the other end. The tray contains the pieces that get scattered, the food stays away from the water, and the water stays clean! The tray is strong and seems like it will hold up well. Very satisfied.

This boot tray will hold three smaller pair of shoes or boots or 2 men’s sized boots. Good for a place with limited space.
