I have seen products like this before and always wondered if its a gimmicky item or not. Recently I saw one that used plastic parts so it was much cheaper but at what cost, won't it break from using it? Obviously I skipped that one and picked this one and am glad I did. I can now tell you it is not a gimmick this is the real deal. I have always had my wrists and forearms give out when trying to lift heavier and am looking forward to this being a go to item frequently to help strengthen them. Well packaged (box within a box). Very heavy due to it being all metal which should hold up over time. It feels very comfortable to use and although its heavier than I expected it is not at all to heavy to use. I am not sure what the selector option actually does since I just got it the other day and the instructions do not tell you much. So far I have not noticed any changes when using it. That would be my only suggestion for improvement is something included explaining how to use it. Other than that this is a great product if you are looking to improve wrist and forearm strength since the handles rotate freely.
