This book is worth every penny. It contains Op 100, 105, and 109. In my opinion, this is a much better purchase than just the popular Op 100 series. The pieces from Op 105 and 109 are more challenging, but they are excellent technical exercises. All pieces sound beautiful, much better than other "boring" technical pieces. The cover is laminated which should last.

This 105-page volume contains all 3 opuses by Burgmuller. Normally, each opus costs $8 to $11. Pages are crisp and white and notes are easy to read. Typical Schirmer's look. Very happy with this book!To those unfamiliar with Burgmuller's works, these opuses are etudes which are stand-alone pieces in themselves since they are so melodious. I enjoy playing them so much. I actually heard a CD of Opus 100 and that motivated me to get this book.

Burgmuller's studies are really tuneful - I much prefer them to those of Carl Czerny. They are an excellent way to practice a particular technique without driving family and neighbours mad. This is a collection of 3 books of studies. The first book has relatively easy and short studies in, the last two are progressively harder and longer. Excellent value for money.The first copy I was sent however had some pages missing and other pages appearing twice! Second copy was fine.
