My feet are a true size 5, medium width. I was looking for rain boots that I can slide on for walking the dogs around the backyard that will last longer than one PNW rainy season. Due to my small shoe size I was buying kids rain boots, but they were only lasting 4-6 months before cracking or leaking. I was hoping that boots designed for adults and costing twice as much would have better quality. I saw other reviewers said that these boots ran large, but size 5 is the smallest women's size offered, so I took a chance. Even after adding another insert on top of the one already in the boot, these boots are still at least one size larger. These would not even fit properly if I wore thick socks. The calf circumference does feel appropriate, but you can only fit skinny jeans or leggings into them, straight leg or wider will either bunch up on top of the boot or must be worn over the boot. So the foot area is very over-sized, but the leg area feels fitted, awkward proportions.As for comfort, they are not as comfortable as the Kids Western Chief boots I got at Fred Meyers for half the price, which I also added a light insert to for arch support. I would not plan on walking anywhere in these other than around my backyard. The gap located between the heel height and the toe box makes the arch feel unsupported, so the gait of the boot feels "off." Pull tabs would also go along way to help the rim of the boot not curl down when I slip the boots on.

Nice wellies that have good grip and I have had to walk through some serious mud! They have been a god send! I expect them to last as seem well made.

Absolutely gorgeous boots! Fit perfectly, great quality, and very very comfy. I have mid to larger size calves and usually have a bit of difficulty with wellies - these fit very well with enough room for that “just pulled on these cute little boots to let the dog out” casual look. Hoping spring comes quicker so I can wear these every day!

Makes a great gift! Came in the most prettiest box with a handle. So nice to keep if I ever need to store the boots and/or should I ever need to gift to someone else. I order one size up so I can wear with fluffy socks. I'm glad that I did that and it fit very well without being too tight so it's not difficult to take off.
