I love wax seals and wax seal stampers, I have a fairly large collection but I'm always looking for new designs I don't have. This set has two floral bunches that are pretty common designs but the heart design isn't one I have or have seen before so I decided to try out this kit. You can buy single stamp heads (no-handle) for as low as $8 so for three stamp heads this kit already is a good deal... at least if you don't already have any of the three included designs.I liked the wax beads in the bottles for the cuteness but they are a bit impractical. I usually just keep mine in plastic organizer boxes. The wax beads are the same quality as other beads I've bought and used. They melt nicely in the spoon and create solid sturdy seals.The melting spoon in this set is not a good quality. The handle is very cheap and the part that screws into the metal had cracked on mine. I didn't care for the color so I patched the crack then painted the surface with a color I liked. It's still not a good quality spoon and I have much better spoons that have come with other sets but it will work. The handle for the stamp head was fine, it's a nice and more embellished handle than most sets come with which was another reason I like this set. It's different from the usual plain wood handles. It still fits all modern standard stamp heads so it's interchangeable with other sets or individual heads. I ended up painting the handle a little to match it to my newly painted spoon handle, but it was cute before too.The included metallic marker pen is ... okay? It's not the greatest quality, but it will mark the wax, and not all paint pens will. So, I guess it's okay, but I'd personally recommend getting a better pen if you really want to mark the designs with gold or silver.Overall, not everything is the best quality, but it is a good value and the parts that really matter the stamp head and seal wax are good while everything else is at least functional. This does come very nicely presented and would make a great gift for someone who likes wax seals.
