Sono un novellino del fumo lento. Questa è stata la prima pipa vera della mia vita. Se prima ci si informa su come utilizzare al meglio la pipa (in generale: saranno tre o quattro, piccoli accorgimenti - come caricare, come accendere, come "pipare", come e quando scovolinare - cui si fa presto l'abitudine, il godimento dell'aroma, la qualità della radica e l'eleganza dl modello sono garantiti. Ottimo acquisto, da accompagnare con un eventuale modello più "corto" e maneggevole per le fumate non da seduti, ma mentre ci si muove.

First read the detailed instructions, before you use. I saw feedback that said bowl cracked, I think "Was bowl not left to cool ?, someone moaned about the cork tapper 🙄. It is perfect for aticking somewhere, even in ashtray, good forr tapping bowl out without causing damage to bowl. Again "read instructions "Well. I made a couple of mistakes. I ordered 2 instead of 1. I made another mistake in my observation and getting mixed up when looking for the right pipe.I EXPECTED, 1 Churchwarden pipe ,Pear wood, with a reamer enclosed. YES these were my mistakes.What arrived was 2 pipes( sent 1 back ,all good there)After looking through box,I didn't find reamer. ( even though it is listed as part of contents on enclosed instructions).Then I discovered. That the wood WASNT Pear. I discovered it to be Ebony. Well I have never smoked an ebony pipe before.I handled the pipe. It is a nice weight and feels good in the hand.I agree, "no right or wrong way" however. I think I will break this in gradually. As the first couple of bowls didn't taste dandy. But I can break a pipe in, I do think this will be fine once she has been filled a few times. I do think it feels quality build.Yet I am not a fan of adding things to a pipe. Like "a carbon coating "?. I am from the old school of "That's part of breaking it in ". I really don't enjoy it done this way tbh. But when seasoned ? It will get better.Yes definitely a keeper. Sad I didn't pay more attention when ordering. Yet at same time I may not of tried an ebony pipe. So that's a plus. I will get another churchwarden made with Pear wood.I only smoke churchwardens as I find a lot cooler to smoke.All on all I am very happy with this pipe.My other main pipe is a briar churchwarden, yet the bowl is half the size of this one. So I get the best of both worlds.I will shop here again. Good sellers.
