First of all this product downgrades your reading speed A LOT. When I put my 1700 mb/s ssd into it , I could only get max about ~700 mb/s. Then I tried to migrate my files to a new drive and my entire pc crashed and my drive was corrupt... I know its because of this adapter because the crash doesnt happen when I put the ssd into my motherboard. I do not recommend this product because it corrupted my entire drive and cost me a lot of time.

PAS OP! Dit is een PCI-E 3.0 x1 m.2 m-key nvme adapter, dus maar één pcie (1x) lane ipv vier pcie (x4) lanes. Het product staat dus verkeerd geadverteerd en is dus vier keer zo traag als staat beschreven. Hierdoor is de bandbreedte dus ook maximaal 1000MB/s i.p.v. 4000MB/s.PAS OP! Dit betekent in mijn geval dat mijn SSD maar 880MB/s haalt ipv de 3500MB/s. Toch nog 1 ster aangezien het product wel werkt, echter niet op de geadverteerde snelheid natuurlijk. Dit kaartje is dus wel ideaal als je juist een PCI-E x1 slot vrij hebt aangezien een PCI-E x4 kaart daarin niet past natuurlijk.

I bought this to put my second 1 Tb SSD into my music studio rack as my motherboard only has one slot to fit one (as with most motherboard).Modern instrument sample libraries need phenomenal access speed and processing resources and even a 7200 rpm disk can't serve the samples quickly enough.Although I've not actually measured the read speed, if happily handles the 900 GB of I've got loaded without a blip.Installation is very simple (I added a heatsink onto the SSD ) and Windows 10 found the drive without intervention from me. All I needed to do was create the partition and format.Basically - it works a treat!!

Lo instale hace unos meses y ni un solo problema, lee y transmite perfectamente las ssd, facil de instalar.

Bought one of these for its low profile capabilities initially. Ended up getting a second one for a full height desktop as well. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Working for some weeks now, no issues, thus my review.Samsung EVO SSD's used in both scenarios. But the only issue I had was not the fault of the adapter(s), just something to keep in mind when using these which is that it may not work as a boot device. In my case I have an Optiplex 3020 for the low profile and n ASUS B85M-G mobo for the other and I had to "hack" the BIOS to get these to be used as boot devices.Luckily for me others already did the hard work and then posted online on the process but again something to keep in mind if your motherboard's BIOS doesn't recognize nvme as a boot device.

Se non si ha a disposizione uno slot per nvme, con questa risolvi il problema.
