I have never tried punch needle work before so when I saw this kit I thought I would give it a try. The kit is in a handy plastic box which is perfect for keeping everything together. In the kit you get a nicely made wooden handle to fit the punch needle. It is very smooth and comfortable to hold. I found the needle stays in place well when in use. There are three different sizes of needle, depending on the thickness of the thread/wool to be used, a pair of snips and needle threader. The one thing that the kit doesn’t contain is an instruction sheet, although there are threading instructions on the listing. As a novice I would’ve liked a leaflet but this is only a minor point.I really like the effect you achieve using the punch needle and am looking forward to perfecting the technique.
