The 'Jukway Cotton Fabric 50x145 cm, 100% Cotton' arrived in a simple bag.This cotton fabric has a elegant design printed on it and my wife is already considering how best to utilise it, although a fancy top is at the head of the list. The colours are vibrant and the details are clear, though a lack of care instruction does limit my ability to maintain those qualitiesI have given 4 stars due to the absence of care instructions.It would be nice to see this fabric available in longer lengths, as it would increase its possible uses from clothing to tapestries to cover a wall.

Farben prächtig, leicht zu verarbeiten. Habe daraus eine nachhaltige Geschenkverpackung genäht. Die Waschbarkeit kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Beautiful fabric- only 1/2 yard cut by a longer yardage length. Unfortunately cannot get any more. Beautiful though even though it’s a little pricey.

Der sog. Japanstoff ist aus 100 % Baumwolle.Er ist für Patchwork sehr gut geeignet, denn er ist dicht gewebt und franst dahernicht so schnell aus, wie „billige“ Baumwollstoffe.Der Stoff ist bedruckt und nicht durchgefärbt. Deshalb ist er auch ein wenig steifer alsandere Baumwollstoffe.Die Grundfarbe dieses Stoffes ist ein helles Rot mit japanischen Blüten und Schmetterlingenin allen Farben. Die Randbegrenzungen der Blüten und Schmetterlinge ist golden.Hier liegt der Meter 1,45 m breit, somit eine Sonderbreite für uns hier in Deutschland.Patchworkstoffe liegen im Normalfall 1,10 m breit.Der Versender versendet hier immer 50 cm Stücke in der Breite von 1,45 m9,35 Euro kosten hier 50 cm.Das ist etwas günstiger auf den Meter gerechnet, als wenn man Japanstoffe im Laden oderauf dem Stoffmarkt kauft. Man muss beim Preis die Breite berücksichtigen.

My immediate thoughts with the patterns on this fabric were Far Eastern exotic flavours! With colourful flowers and wonderful butterflies, my mind was racing with ideas for what to use it for.I really like it and will enjoy adding it into my patchwork projects.The quality of the fabric is good, although a little stiff.
