Are they real leather? Of course not. Do they feel like real leather? Obviously not. Do they make my hand made items look extremely nice? Yes!Yes, sometimes I have to clean out the punched spots, but that happens with any item like this.I used to use wooden buttons on my handmade items, and since switching to these tags, and that's the only change, people compliment my work more.***Update***I've washed a blanket with a tag several times and it's held up as well as the yarn has. You can't even tell it's been washed.
