I got this self fill punch bag for my son, who is into boxing, martial arts and also kickboxing, this bag was to replace the ones he has gone through, by this I mean the bag have torn and the filling was coming out, this will happen with cheap bags, but any bag over time will split, as you are thumping it with your feet, fist and also whilst wearing boxing gloves, so they do take a beating and need to be strong.This bag seems to be stronger than the one I got previously, we were lucky and managed to fill this bag with the old filler, some old clothing and added some thick foam as well, you can buy filler, but it costs around £6-7 for 5kgs, so it can work out to be fairly expensive, you will need a lot for this jumbo bag, which is already expensive in the first place.The fixings which come with the bag are heavyweight as well as the other bit, we have hung ours in the garage and the chains should not break as they are very strong and thick. This is an excellent jumbo punch bag, but it is very expensive, especially as it needs to be filled, so I have taken off one star for this reason alone, I am happy to recommend this bag and give it four stars.

Jumbo Huge Bull Doza Fight Wear Heavy-Duty Self-Fill Punching BagThis is certainly a monster of a punch bag, I already have an ageing heavy canvas self fill punch bag, along with a more modern ready filled Pro bag. This punch bag is far bigger than either of those, it is self fill but boy is it going to take some filling. It is recommended to fill small bags with sand and tape them together to prevent spillage, pack the bag with old clothes or material with the sand in the centre to stabilise the bag. The temptation may be to fill this completely with sand, but to be honest you would never be able to lift it off the ground as this bag is huge. My canvas bag is filled with old blankets and bedspreads, I found they work well, although a little lumpy.This bag is made from heavy gauge faux leather which does appear to be very strong and unlikely to split, it is lined with a tough canvas like material. All seams are securely stitched with no dodgy areas that I could detect. The straps that are attached to the bag along the top are folded to double thickness for extra strength, these go part way down the sides of the bag for added stability and strength. Each strap is securely stitched around the edges and is finished off with 10 metal rivets, I cannot see any way they are ever going to fail.Also supplied are a set of chromed metal chains along with chromed metal carabiner hooks for attaching to your ceiling anchor points. The chains attach to heavy duty metal links that are sewn into the hanging straps. This is a big bag which is going to be heavy once filled, you are going to need a very strong mounting point overhead, either a dedicated punch bag stand or a ceiling mount that is bolted to or around a strong beam.Overall, this is a massive punch bag that is clearly built to take some punishment - Recommended!CONTENTS:1 x Punch Bag6 x Hanging Chains2 x Carabiner ClampsThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

I requested this to replace on old vinyl 6ft bag I’ve had for years . The quality of the fittings and the bag it self seem very robust and durable. I am probably going to use the filling from my old punch bag for this but I am first lining it with old quilts and it will have a centre of bagged sawdust . I am checking to see what other fillings would be good as I was thinking of sawdust rather than sand which would be too heavy. It will go in my spare room which is my home fitness room, the only thing I am not sure of is if the wall bracket I have will hold this away from the wall once it’s filled due to it’s girth . Overall it is a decent quality punch bag and I’m looking forward to using it .
