Item stopped working. Has been fitted a few months but only used 5 or 6 times.

Used this to operate a height adjustment on a lawn broom. No more off and on the mower to set height.

Their ad is deceptive as they state this actuator will lift 660lbs. I added it to my crane for lifting granite pieces off my trailer. I only need the actuator to raise the boom and my winch could takeover from there. I was installing an island that was ( and I’m being generous ) 450 lbs at best. So I raised the boom and moved it into position. Then I used the winch to lower my clamp. Then I used the winch to pick up the island. It got about four inches above my aframe tray and we were about to swing it out when the actuator completely gave way. Luckily for us the island and both of us were unscathed. Let me repeat” LUCKILY”. If the island had broken I would have had to buy another slab and fabricate it again at my expense. We would have been approaching the two grand mark at that point. And if one of us was also hurt they would also have been loss of productivity. Their ad also claims the actuator is IP 65 rated but when it ariived the manual said IP 54. I am still using one of the two I purchased because it is (so far) handling the tasks given it (though barely). DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Unless you just need something to slide open your hen house door. That’s really about all I can see it handling.
