Great power supply for the price, quite enough and lots of different connections highly recommended

So far this PSU works fine, well just about. I like modular PSUs where you only plug in the SATA leads you need but I knew that before buying so the leads tend to sprawl everywhere unless you hide them away and cable tie them up but not knocking points off for this as it's clear in the pictures.What I will knock a point off for is the TIGHTEST SATA connectors I've ever known. If you have a delicate solid state SSD, then plugging and unplugging these SATA leads becomes rather uncomfortable bearing in mind the amount of force required: -1 point.I struggled a little to separate the 2 pin from the 8 pin PCI-E connector for a Sapphire RX590 which requires one 8 + one 6 pin connector. In fact it wasn't until I looked much closer that I realised the 2 pin was actually detachable. I paid £27 for it on sale, I wouldn't really have liked to have paid £35 (price now) for it. All of the PSU power leads are uncurled and flat so they're quite conspicuous, luckily I could hide the worst offender (mainboard supply) away underneath and out of sight. I cable tied everything else not used tightly next to the PSU. It is possible to use a handful of cable ties and bunch/curl up the ribbons to reduce their footprint but I didn't here.OK for a budget 500W + 2xPCIE PSU at the price I paid (£27) but at £35, another £10 to £15 gets you a much friendlier one.(BTW like almost all PSUs, this doesn't come with a UK 240V-> C13 kettle lead.)

When you're building entry level PCs you need to make sure you've got best value in every part. This power supply hits that brief, it's got all the connections you need, including two 6+2 PCI-E connectors to power a GPU with.The cables are black plastic which gives a fuss-free look and don't stand out in black cases. Great value, I'll buy them again.

Power supply is fine but it didn’t come with the iec c13 cable to plug into the power supply. Its very frustrating because i dont know what power supply doesn’t come with that cable for me to plug into the wall and get power. I dont know if thats intentional, if it is it needs to be stated in bold before hand because now i need to spend money on a cable and my pc build is being delayed. Very annoying!
