L'ho acquistato per collegare una dashcam sulla mia moto che è dotata di cavo di alimentazione del navigatore a 12V posto sotto chiave, quindi necessitavo di un trasformatore che mi desse 5V in uscita per alimentare la dashcam di cui sopra.
