I chose these because I wanted old-school chains rather than wimpy-ass cables. I was a little disappointed to discover that the chain itself is more doll-size than like the full-size chains I remember from the old days. But a pleasant surprise relative to the old days, is the self-tensioning. Per years of habit I got out of the car after the first few hundred feet to snug up. But when I did that I only discovered that THEY HAD SNUGGED THEMSELVES UP. The self-tensioning mechanism really works! Amazing.Besides the chain itself being doll-size, a surprising amount of the chainset is made out of plastic - this was surprising given the price. And sure enough, I managed to run over one of the tensioners in the process of taking them off. Though there is plenty of visible damage to the plastic body of the tensioner, it does still work just fine. And after our first snow & ice this winter, including some driving on bare pavement, the chain links are holding up well -- in fact I can't really see much of any wear at all. So apparently they used good materials where it really mattered.

Sono facili da montare , certo sono catene e su un gommone da 18 magari ci vuole un attimo...ma certamente più pratiche di altre, non sono le più economiche ma hanno un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo,Robuste lo sono ...va premesso che sono catene ...si usano con la neve ...a velocità bassa....se ti metti a fare il fenomeno in salita con un mezzo con molti cavalli non troverai mai una catena che regge !...se qust anno nevicherà come lo scorso...le catene serviranno solo ad i PUNK !!!

Ho comprato queste catene perché avevo già acquistato precedentemente un prodotto della stessa marca con il quale mi ero trovato bene.

Non ho ancora avuto occasione per montarle ma da come si presentano sembrano veramente di alta qualità sia la catena che i tiranti ed il resto dei pezzi! Avevo sempre catene economiche! Anche la scatola dove riposarle è molto robusta e con le istruzioni di montaggio! Consigliato
