Lovely quality a joy to use, highly recommend

These are fantastic egg cup holders. For one thing they stack in your cupboard unlike the old kind that just took up room when not being used. Secondly there is a space to put the egg shell and thirdly you can rest a spoon on the ledge. Vastly superior to the old kind. The only thing I would say is that a large egg is just slightly small when sitting in the holder and an extra large egg would probably fit better. Buy it is no big deal. I like them a lot and will probably buy more.

I waited to review these cups until I had used them for a while. I ordered 4 of them (2 pcs in each order). They are very sturdy. Dishwasher without issue. They stack easily and solidly. They hold the egg perfectly and the oval side allows you to place the top, or a spoon right next to the egg. I fully peel my eggs (personal preference) and cut my toast into sticks to dip with... then I just pick up the egg and eat it.... but it worked just as well leaving the shell and topping it. I like the heavy white porcelain and the sort of modern oval base. I also love that they stack (wasn't really expecting that) and they wash up easily and safely in the dishwasher. I estimate the ovals are about 3 1/2 to 4" at the longest point. They look so nice on the breakfast table in my opinion. I like that they are the usual "egg tower" cup - I usually knock those over - but I am a classic klutz too. :) I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I do hope this info was useful to you as it is the only reason I bother to write my fully uncompensated reviews! :)
