I needed extra storage to use with my iPad whilst editing videos/audio and didn’t want to spend £45 on the Apple version of this adapter.This adapter paired with a SanDisk 256GB flash drive works great. Simply plug and play with no need to plug in an extra power cord, although it is a handy feature. It also transfers files quickly, but this could be due to the USB 3.0 of the flash drive.
