at one end of the cable theres a sort of cut into the cable, functionally fine but it seems its a used model.

Doet het, 5m voor een prikkie. HDMI en DP zelfde kwaliteit, want eerst verkeerde ontvangen en vergeten terug te sturen. Voor dat geld niet echt de moeite, reserve kabel van 5m is altijd handig, kan er eventueel een touwbrug van te maken ofzo. Sterk zat.

Perfect. Not all 1.2 displayport cables are able of high refresh-rates cause of the limited band width. But I can confirm this displayport cable version 1.2 from Cabledirect works at 1440p 240hz at 8 bits color, everything below 240hz works with 10 bits color. I bought 2 meters here, and can confirm it works also with the same cable of 10 meters, which I bought on the German Amazon a while ago. Cause of a monitorarm I needed 12 meters in total. I connected a displayport 1.2 repeater 4k@60hz from the brand Cable Matters between the two cables, it works like a charm. I read in multiple reviews the cables after two years are broken. The 10 meter cable I have now 8 months, the 2 meter cable 2 days. If the cables are getting broken indeed in the time of two years, I will change my review.Little note: If you want 240hz or higher with 10 bits color you need displayport 1.4 cause such a high refreshrate at 10 bits demands more bandwidth. Wich is much more expensive, specially for long cables. To be honest, I don't really see a difference between 8 or 10 bits color, so version 1.2 works fine for me.
