They work very well. If you put clips on to combine multiple sticks the teeth do come off a bit but all in all I'm satisfied.

I've bought a pack of 5 of 180cm-by-16mm thinking these were solid poles (seen from the images) and sturdy enough to put them into the ground. Please note that it's just hollow steel tubes with a coating. They are not very sturdy and if you either try to force them into the ground, with or without hammer, they might deform or bend somewhere along the way. In the end after trying to use them, I only had 3 out of 5 usable poles (1 was bend). While it was enough to do the job, it was somewhat expensive considering the rest was no longer usable.
