Bought these to keep grit and duff out of my mid boots. The L/XL size rise 2-3 inches above boot collar. Light breathable stretchy nylon for hot weather when winter gaiters are not required.Fits ok trail shoe type mids and UK size 11 leather walking boots. Quick and easy to fit.

I recently completed a section of the Pacific Crest Trail and can’t recommend the Kahtoola INSTAgaiter Mid Gaiters enough! I am a size 8.5 and I couldn't get the S/M over a standard height hiking shoe. Other than that, they look great. I have a large size on the way. The bottom strap looks pretty good, and you can purchase replacements.
