Enfin je retrouve cet appareil indispensable ! bien suffisant pour visionner les diapos avant de les scanner . fonctionne sur secteur donc plus de problème de piles manquantes ( ou qui coulent dans l'appareil .. )

This is just about adequate for previewing slides. But it could be a lot better. The image is on the small side, and despite being mains powered is not particularly bright (noticeable if you have underexposed slides). (I had an old battery viewer, sadly now defunct, which gave a brighter and larger image.) It is possible for slides occasionally to jam in the slide eject arrangement, and the little storage tray into which the ejected slides are received is small and a nuisance and slightly fiddly to empty. (For the way I use the device, on a table, I should have preferred no tray - as in a different, battery model.) The device comes fitted with a European plug and a UK adaptor, the connection between the two being slightly temperamantal. And, last but not least, the device needs a switch, either on it or on the lead close to it - if left on continuously it gets warm, if not hot - switching off at the plug is not convenient (or acceptable I would say). Again my old battery device was better - inserting the slide switched on the lamp (agreed, the system used would probably not have been suitable for mains operation). The provision of a switch in the lead and a UK plug would deal with two problems (and I might make those changes on my device).

Satisfecho, aunque lo recibi con la lampara fundida. No es problema, son baratas.Hay que tener precaucion para que no se recaliente. Puede estropear la diapositiva e, incluso,deteriorarse el aparato.Hubiera sido muy util un interruptor.
