My daughter does cheer and has been asking me for a pair of butterfly shorts for ages so I was delighted with the opportunity to test these.They're fantastic quality and the waistband is nicely elasticated plus has a drawstring so you can control the fit well. I ordered an 8-10 for my average sized, 50th centile, 8½ year old and they fit great - enough stretch and adjustability that they'll grow with her, but also a fab fit right off the bat.The inner short is like a cycle short, so she's got the all the sass of a ra-ra skirt but is fine doing all her running and tumbling while still remaining 'demure and mindful'.In terms of value, there are cheaper options for girls butterfly shorts available - I bought my older daughter a cheaper pair shipped from China, and having compared the two, definitely think these are worth the little bit extra. Sizing on these were spot on, and the addition of the drawstring makes them an excellent choice. Older daughter already asking me for a pair of these instead...
