Funziona perfettamente su Windows 11 con sistema AMD e grazie a questa scheda sono riuscito a riesumare una vecchia M-Audio FireWire 1814. L'ingresso molex alimenta perfettamente la scheda audio tramite il solo cavo firewire. Ho avuto problemi con altri prodotti più economici con chipset VIA, che per incompatibilità del bridge ASM1083 con il sistema AMD, rendevano inutilizzabile la scheda audio. Ma grazie a questo prodotto ho risolto il problema! Consigliatissima

Perfecto para Mac Pro 7,1 (2019). Sigue funcionando como el primer día la RME Fireface 400.

I use it with a new Windows 11 Pro machine (2022). The notoriously kinky Motu Traveler audiointerface (from around 2007), works without any issues whatsoever. At very low latency. FW card installs automatically by Windows. Latest driver from around (2016)? installs and drives the Traveler easily up to 96kHz/ 32bit audiostreams with buffer 128. It has never before worked this good and without dropouts. It’s a great affordable FireWire card, equipped with quality TI controller. Support is helpful and service minded. I can definitely recommend this card from Kalea- Informatique.

I looked at other PCIe FW cards claiming to be Texas Instruments chipsets. One was three times the price of this one!I wanted to have a firewire port on my new-build PC DAW for my audio interface (MOTU 828 mk3 Hybrid).I find firewire generally more reliable than USB2 in terms of audio latency.Installation in my Win 10 (I don't like Win 11) PC was very straight-forward and no drivers are needed since Windows recognises the chipset straight away and the card appears in Device Manager with no problems.I plugged up the MOTU interface and it works flawlessly.I'm now able to decrease the buffer size in my audio software and latency isn't an issue.Fantastic value card.It comes with a small (english) manual describing physical installation and verification of windows PnP.It also comes with a 1M firewire to mini-firewire (DV) cable. The cable is a 4-pin to 6-pin - IEEE1394 - iLink - old Camcorder style - DV to FW 400 - Male to Male.I didn't need the cable since I used my existing FW 800 to 800 cable for my audio interface.Easy installation in windows - true plug and play!It works with any version of Windows from 2000 onwards.You'll need a PCI Express enabled system with one available PCI Express slot.Definitely recommended if you are looking for a true TI chipset FW port.Hope I've helped with my review.
