Kali Audio LP-UNF - Actieve studio monitor

I use these way outside the intended use as ultra near field monitors, putting them on either side of my TV while connected to a sub in my small bedroom for both watching movies/shows and airplaying music, and I typically listen 1.5-2 meters away on my bed or desk, raised to ear level using stands. The measurements and impressions of this little speaker are impressive for the price, and seemed to fit the bill for me as small, inexpensive speakers with an accurate/flat response and low distortion. I was worried about performance since I'm using them a little farther than the intended .8m, and also being too dry/boring since they are studio monitors, but I'm very happy with the sound; it's balanced, clear, and very revealing with accurate imaging and a strong phantom center, even when I'm not perfectly on axis like lying on the bed. It gets plenty loud for a small-medium sized bedroom, especially if you add a sub, and you'll have no problem feeling immersed in both music and shows being very clear and detailed, but in a pleasantly natural and non-fatiguing way. The DIP switches are especially helpful in shaping the sound further and I found it really easy to find a balanced and pleasing sound for my placement just using familiar media to fine tune them. My only negative might be the interconnect cable being of an unusual connector type and fairly short at 5 feet, making it hard to conceal the cable if you use it a little farther part than the recommended .8m, but there is an 8ft accessory cable you can buy direct from Kali, or if you have cable skills, make your own. Overall, I'm very happy with these speakers and don't feel I'll be buying anything else for a long time.

Nicht "Out of the Box!", aber mit einem guten Software Equalizer!Wird von mir nicht als Abhörmonitor für Aufnahmen verwendet, sondern als PC Lautsprecher für Spiele, Filme, Musik, Videokonferenzen... und was sonst noch so ansteht.LS Einstellmöglichkeiten (Dippschalter an der Rückseite) funktionieren sehr gut. Lautstärke ist mehr als ausreichend. Klang ist wirklich sehr gut (ist immer eine persönliche Wahrnehmung..).Ich verwende als Equalizer die Software Sonar > ist kostenlos, wenn man einen Steelseries Kopfhörer besitzt! Oder alternativ kostenlose Software Peace. Sonar stellt zb. für Spiele schon sehr gute EQ Einstellungen an, die man bei Bedarf noch anpassen kann.Als Ständer für den Tisch kann ich Kanto SE6W Lautsprecher Ständer sehr empfehlen. Sehen gut aus, Höhenanwinkelung passt, und da wackelt auch nichts.Wünsche an Kali:- Power Schalter nicht an der Rückseite, seitlich oder vorne wäre besser 👍- das prioritäre Verbindungskabel etwas länger und nicht so steif (95 cm Abstand der LS ist schon fast die Grenze)Kann Kali Audio LP-UNF somit wirklich empfehlen, und ja, ich würde sie wieder kaufen.

I wanted to replace my aging Creative T50 speakers. After much reading I tried the AudioEngine a2+ speakers. They were awful, worse sound than my T50's. After even more reading I decided to chance the Kali Audi LP-UNF speakers. Overall sound quality is definitely better tan the T50s, particularly in the base, but I'm not sure that its worth the price difference between the T50 and The LP-UNFs.There are annoyances. I have a 35 inch screen and the cable that connects the two speakers is only just wide enough for this distance. This cable also has a tendency to become disconnected when moving the speakers around to fine tune the sweet spot.Other niggles are1. ,Evident before you buy, but all controls are on the reverse of one of the speakers.2. The speakers do not have a standby mode, so have to be switched off overnight or when otherwise not in use. This is a Kali recommendation to preserve speaker life. Reaching behind the speaker to switch it off , given the limited space available, is annoying.

Son équilibré, puissant, riche et avec une belle image stéréo.Je l'utilise pour couvrir une pièce de taille moyenne et la puissance suffit largement.Le rapport qualité/prix est tout bonnement imbattable.Le port USB est un vrai plus pour la nourrir d'un son digital à partir d'un PC (elle est reconnue comme une carte son par le PC).Le fait que les enceintes soient directement amplifiées est très pratique pour réduire le nombre d'appareils électroniques à maintenir et allumer. Le plus simple est de les brancher directement sur le PC en USB et voilà ça fonctionne directement.Pour les vieux baladeurs mp3 et iPods, un cable RCA vers mini jack fait parfaitement l'affaire.
