It’s genuinely easy to set up just basically connect your phone/tablet/device via Bluetooth, pick a song on YouTube or wherever and you’re off. This model comes with two wireless microphones so there’s no arguing over who gets to sing next, and both mics have their own volume controls, which is handy if you’ve got siblings with very different singing styles (or volume levels).The sound quality is actually a lot better than I expected for something this size. It gets pretty loud, so you might want to keep an eye on the volume, but it’s clear and doesn’t sound tinny. Though I will say, the bass is terrible. The built-in LED lights are a fun extra and you can switch between different light patterns it definitely adds to the partaaay vibe, especially when the room is a bit darker (looks better at night to be fair).The "magic" sound effects are hillarious and the kids love them you can change your voice to sound like a robot, monster, or even a baby, which had everyone literally in stitches. It also has a feature that removes vocals from songs, so the kids can really feel like the star of the show (at least in their eyes). The mics are also rechargeable, and the battery life has been decent so far we’ve had a couple of sessions without needing to recharge.It’s lightweight and portable, so the kids have been carrying it from room to room and even took it to a sleepover. The carry handle makes it easy for them to manage on their own, and it all feels sturdy enough to survive a bit of rough treatment. This portable karaoke machine, currently priced at £19.99 is bound to appeal to the young, and maybe the young at heart.With two microphones, a small portable amplifier and the ability to connect via Bluetooth, you can sing along to your favourite songs.A reasonable volume is available but sound quality is not a feature of this plastic cased device.There are a variety of settings available controlled by press buttons on the microphones and amplifier. These are somewhat bewildering as each button does more than one thing, depending on whether it is a short or long press.A leaflet showing what each button does is included, however I had to photocopy it and print it off on a larger piece of paper to be able to read it.I cannot comment on the longevity of this device but at its current price point it I feel it justifies 5 stars.
