This clock replaces an 18 year old Karlsson clock of the same design. Only problem with the old clock was the hands started dropping down - probably through wear - so accuracy no longer guaranteed. We were so pleased with the cool design of the old clock, we bought the same as replacement. Very affordable too.

Se avessi dovuto basare l'acquisto sulle recensioni probabilmente non lo avrei mai acquistato. Quando ho inserito la batteria per la prima volta ho creduto che fosse già rotto poiché avvicinando l'orecchio non si sente alcun suono, zero assoluto. Dopo un po' ho notato la lancetta dei minuti spostata e allora ho capito che in effetti funzionava estremamente silenzioso. Ottima autonomia, dal 25 luglio (oggi 12 ott.) ancora la stessa batteria. L'orario mostrato è abbastanza preciso ed accettabile, tuttavia non occorre un orologio stile NASA. Elegante nel suo insieme. Per concludere, o io sono stato estremamente fortunato poiché non posso trovare un difetto oppure diversamente le precedenti recensioni sono estremamente dubbiose.

A lot of complaints on Amazon about this clock seem to be a product of aggressive handling by the consumer, and not using the dial on the back to set the hands. Simply put the hands on gently, put a battery in it, set the time with the dial, and hang it. Done. It's made of lightweight thin aluminum for a purpose, and that is to keep the hands as light as possible to promote battery life -- the less weight being moved, the less energy needed.
