I am using this as an occasional curtain rail, for a thermal door curtain during the winter- Included were 2 wall fixing channels, 1extending captive button rod and 5 x 40mm long threaded end rods. All were well manufactured, having a well applied, evenly dispersed black powder coating. The extending rod slide to open by an additional 30cm and this gives an overall length, should you want to use that much of 2.4m approx.You can, of course, make it smaller, small adjustments via the multi-position sliding rod, or in big 40cm chunks by taking out one of the threaded rods.I found for my application, with a lightweight curtain, a length of 1.8m worked fine, fit some curtain loops over the curtain, thread it through the rod and it's a good, simple way of putting up a lightweight curtain- I noted no sag in the rods over this length, but if using as a clothes rail, with typical mix of clothes over 2.4m I do feel that there may be some sagging in the rail and would look at putting a central support in.Fitting to the wall was quite easy, but initially a 2 person job as there is a need to get the wall channels in the correct position prior to drilling screw holes and use a level to get it right- the channel support is relatively narrow, a little under 1cm and so it also has a locking screw to hold the rail into the channel- as a tip, make sure you get it the right way round as the alternative is the lock screw facing the wall and that's impossible to secure from that orientation.Overall good for relatively light loading and quite flexible, it's also has good value in the lengths it can cover and no cuting to length as in some others- the beauty for us is that it is easy to take down as the seasons change and then stows away nicely untill the next year.

Makes it weak and bowed as soon as I put clothes on it. Not strong enough to put hangers on, never mind clothes !

A good extendable rod consisting of six rods of which one is extendable that can be screwed together to give a maximum length of 248cm. There are also two end brackets with screws and wall plugs. Good for adding a pole to a wardrobe or open hanging space. The rod is secure and should take a good amount of clothes with no warping.

This adjustable closet rod has been helpful in adding extra hanging space to my laundry room, and it has worked out well for my needs. The installation does require some effort, as I needed to secure the brackets first, connect the poles, and adjust the length using the silver button. The instructions were clear enough, and I didn’t encounter any significant issues setting it up. The adjustable range made it easy to fit into a somewhat awkward space. I appreciate that I can repurpose it elsewhere, such as in a wardrobe or even a bathroom. The metal construction appears solid, and the rod hasn’t sagged under the weight of heavier garments, such as coats or jeans.The rod is not good for other purposes, like a curtain. The rod does move in the bracket, which I didn't like much. While the rod itself feels sturdy once installed, I did notice that the finish on the metal scratches fairly easily, especially during installation.

Not that great I am afraid. I got this as a clothes rail not for a wardrobe but a hallway cupboard. There are two sets of instructions to cover both option. The wardrobe clothes rail includes support brackets but the hanging rail (the one I got) does not. Of course once it is fitted and weight is attributed it bows too much for me to trust it so I removed it.
