My last katsu chainsaw died after 4/5 years of hard use. Went looking for another of the same make and found this. Yes, instructions are absent but assembly is not impossible (I am no more than a competent handyman). Yes I put the chain on the wrong way round first time of asking, but once rectified, this is a dream to use. Light, manageable and a knife through butter on an old tree (100mm+). Extra chain is a useful bonus which will probably extend the life of the machine. Well worth the money.

Do not buy. Adjustment very fiddly and did not manage to set up. Asked a neighbour who has several chains saw but was unable to help either. I had to take the saw to a dealer who ask me how much I paid for and where. £39.00 in Amazon. He laughed and advised me to pay more for a well known makers. You get what you pay for. And the latest: unable to make the saw work. I took it to Lords Hire who were also unable to make it work either. The oil cap is also leeking. In reflection as I cannot be bother sending it back, I shall bin it and I shall think twice in buying anything like this online. I shall keep with well known manufacturers. Definitely not Chinese.
