Very sturdy and easy to use tool

I bought this for making precision holes using step-bits in delicate audio equipment panels, where I felt a power drill would be a bit heavy handed...It definitely offers more control than a high-speed handheld drill would.It feels pretty solid and turns well; a little sticky at times as others have mentioned but it's workable - go steady and don't force it.The reason these stick is due to the accuracy of manufacturing - the handle sprocket isn't quite drilled perpendicular so there's a bit of deflection in the sprocket as it rotates - it could be fixed if you have the means.The one I received only begins to stick when there's rotational resistance against the bit using larger step sizes, so if you're having issues it'd maybe help to lubricate the bit as you drill.I doubt you'll get any better at this price - I would have been happy paying as much for the chuck alone. I don't think this is any different from the similar hand drills sold under other brands for twice the price either.It'll serve me well - 5 Stars for what it is.
