We bought this so our cats, who can never decide which room they want to be in, could easily get into our lounge. We wanted to keep the lounge door closed to try to keep the heat in the room. But our cats were forever meowing to come in or go out. The door is a great solution.There are other simple cat flaps that would do the job but the whimsy of the tiny French doors really appealed to us. The cats love it too.When we need to stop the cats going through it, the doors close and the latch locking them seems quite secure. It's stopped our 6kg male cat from getting through, so I think it would work for even the most energetic cat.I found taking the door off the hinges and laying the door on the kitchen table the easiest way to cut the opening for the cat doors and then fit it. It's a simple project that took less then an hour with an electric jigsaw, a cordless drill, a screwdriver and a pencil. You could fit this with hand tools, but it was very easy with power tools.I'd recommend this to anyone with cats.

Die katzen lieben diese katzentür und ich auch! Sie sieht mega niedlich aus und ging recht einfach einzubauen(laut meinem mann). wenn die katzen mal nicht raus dürfen, kann ich die tür schließen, absolut praktisch. Meine katzen sind sehr klein (3 und 3,5 kg) und passen locker flockig durch. Ich werde definitiv noch mehrere kaufen für weitere türen!
