This does the job great for keeping my cat and bunny from damaging the couch overnight.It’s super thick and easy to put on and take off, very reusable.Con:-does not fold down very small, so storing it while couch is in use isn’t ideal-quite loud when you’re moving it, so not ideal if you’re doing it early in the morning and trying to let the household sleep.Personally, I find those two cons very very minor when factoring in how great this is. Just don’t buy it thinking it’ll “blend right in” since it’s clear. Very visually noticeable.

So I got me one of these to protect my white leather sofa against our large dog who I have tried everything to discourage him getting on it and turning it into a brown/black sofa, to which I am forever having to clean it to get it white again. Our sofa is a large 3-seater and this cover is actually a little bigger, definitely big enough.I've used blankets until now, but blankets look awful as covers because can't see the white leather, so I saw one of these clear covers on a TV program and thought I'd give it a go, and for only £25, it's worth a shot. And of course, blankets always come off.It does exactly as advertised.It's thick enough to provide the right protection, although do check the length of your dogs' claws as if too long and sharp, they could go through. However, if like us you take your dog for long walks/runs, then the claws should not be long, or sharp.The cover is moulded to the shape of "A" sofa with seems, but will not fit your sofa exactly - Of course it won't, and why should we expect it to for £25.So do yourself a favour.....When you get yours. It comes packaged all folded up. Which means that when you get it out, it will be very very creased and crinkled.If you buy in summer then do yourself a huge favour and leave it out in the midday sun for an hour or two to soften it up, before you attempt to put it on.I didn't have the luxury of sun, due to buying at a colder time of the year, so it stretched it out as much as I could and put it on the sofa..... But it looked awful due to the creases and crinkles.Like any plastic, it will eventually iron itself out, but I decided I would use my heat gun on it.But BE CAREFUL - Keep the heat a long distance away from it otherwise you will probably melt it.This did not happen to me. I worked it slowly and methodically with the heat gun no less than 2 feet away all the time. Using my hand as an iron and to see if it got too hot - IF IT GETS TOO HOT TO TOUCH, THEN YOU ARE OVERDOING IT!!The result is brilliant. I was not able to get ALL the creases out, but most. But more importantly, I was also able to mold it much more easily to the shape of my sofa.Yep, this was a good purchase. 😊👍
