This splash guard does exactly what it says, and does it well. If you are a bit sloppy in the kitchen like me, this does a great job of preventing water from settling around the faucet / backsplash where it can cause mold. Do note that if you buy it in black, you will notice white mineral build up on it after water evaporates on it, especially if you have particularly hard water like I do. But a quick run through the dishwasher and it is as good as new.

It's a great solution to put my dish soap and hand soap bottles on one side, then sponge on another. It looks nice, and the tilted angle helps the water drain. However, my water does leave the water residual, so i put it in the dishwasher once a while
