I decided to try this motor to repair a karcher window vac, it is seemingly impossible to buy the exact motor anywhere. When these motors get old and/or wet, the little bearing where the shaft emerges wears out, allowing the shaft to vibrate and make an awful noise, not to mention running slower. I did try a straight replace with one of these motors at first, but they do not run at a high enough RPM to create sufficient suction. So I then prised the casing off, which includes the bearing (and magnets), and replaced the one on the failed motor, they are exactly the same size. The little bend-over tabs that secure it are in a different position on these compared to the original, but it is a really snug fit and the motor is held in tight in the casing, so this isn't a problem. Works a treat.
