Het balhoofd van mijn woon/werk MTB had door roest versleten lagers. Deze lagers (AC3041R2) zijn niet gemakkelijk te vinden.Daarom heb ik het complete balhoofd vervangen , waar gewone industrielagers inzitten die later makkelijk te kopen en vervangen zijn.Het balhoofd heeft zeer goede afmetingen en lijkt me kwalitatief best goed. Mijn fiets stuurt weer als nieuw!Goed product, goede standaard passingen, goed verpakt, goede prijs. Blij mee.

Excelente, todo bien

It's the first time I install a sealed bearing and I am never going back. That and the fact that its construction is all metal meant that everything so much more rigid and smooth.The cheap bike is to blame, the fit wasn't 100%. The existing cup were brazed or crimped and I didn't wanted to risk damaging the bike so it wasn't installed with the provided cup. The bearing fitted snugly but protruded ever so slightly (~1/32"). The top cover seal covered everything, I 'll make sure the bottom bearing is protected against the elements. I blame my crappy bike, not the kit.The only drawback I found was that it could have shipped with a rubber seal or an o-ring for the lower bearing. With the provided cup the gap would be a few hundred of an inch still but very small overall. Yet for the price I would buy again and I will look for a universal seal or make my own.

I knew what I was to expect with our budget on this build being as low as it was and this is one of the few parts that worked well. Fit was good. No questionable machining needing finished or missing gasket material like I have had on cheapos prior. Strange choices were made in naming and designing the “art” on it but whatever, rides true and bearings are actually sealed not just hidden from you.
