It works quite well, but If I compare quality or at least the feel of quality it is not the feel belonging to 100 euro's. I had a logitech before (but problems with my thumb) and if you take that as standard, this kensington has the feel of one of 30 euro's.But maybe the quality is there and it will prove that to me by functioning perfect for the coming 5 years and I can come back for more stars.The software works, but isn't very nicely done. Again, it works so when you have set it, you don't have to do till you take a new computer. Tip for the manufacturer. Don't present a drawing where the dongle had a place in te mouse and then hide it in the cartons :)So for sofar a 4/5 for function and a 2 for the way it looks for that amount of money, making it a 3 stars item. Hope to come back to add stars as the quality is better then it looks at first sight.

The movement of the ball is smooth (only used via USB connection). However why they did not use silent switches? It is noisy in everty click you make. On top on that scrolling with the ball makes a clicking sound via integrated speaker. And there is no way to disable that sound.So in order to make this trackball usable I had to sacrify my warranty, replace the switches to silent and remove this speaker. Now I can call it good device. Why Kensington you did not think of using silent switches? And why you decide to have this speaker for scrolling?

Het is onmogelijk om nauwkeurig werk te verrichten met deze trackball. De bal beweegt in schokkerige bij langzame bewegingen, waardoor precisie volledig ontbreekt. Dit maakt de trackball totaal ongeschikt voor taken die een hoge mate van nauwkeurigheid vereisen, zoals videobewerking, audioproductie of grafisch ontwerp.

I used a similar Kensington trackball in the past (more 20 years ago), for application development. This one didn't feel any better than the old one, about similar, which is not bad. The old one was really good. But the software for Mac is quite buggy which made me stop using this trackball after 2 weeks. Maybe the software has improved in the meantime, I didn't check for around 6 months. I expected a lot better from Kensington. With good software I will try again.

Voelt erg plastic aana, knoppen zijn te ver uit elkaar om lekker mee te werken, grote voordeel is de draaischijf als scrollwiel maar deze muis werkt gewoon extreem onprettig, kom van een logitech marble, die zijn gewoon super

Consider carefully whether your desk setup and hands would work well with such a steep slope. The slimblade seems to be much more ergonomic, also from Kensington.

I do not recommend this product or this company. While it worked, it was fine, but it simply faded within the year and the company is unreachable. I've written them 3 times already and tried to call them twice to no avail, so I had to buy another trackball. Rest assured it was NOT a Kensington!

Het deze mouse/muis gekocht toen ik triggervingers had.. het is een mouse maar anders.. wel erg fijn als je niet constant je vingers gebogen kan en mag houden. Ik heb deze al een paar jaren, ben nog steeds erg blij mee, zeker als je veel moet scrollen.. dat doe ik door de ring met te draaien, super handig

Fits the hand well. Easy to set up. I have been using a well known marble mouse for years, but it appears to be obsolete now. Any on the secondary market are horrendously overpriced, so finding this as a replacement is great.

Avevo già avuto esperienze in passato con le trackball e ultimamente si è ripresentata l'esigenza. Ho trovato questo prodotto di Kensington e dopo averlo acquistato posso dire che sia stata un'ottima scelta. Il prodotto è solido e ben costruito, si collega al pc attraverso la sua chiavetta wireless inclusa oppure in bluetooth. L'ergonomia e la manovrabilità sono ottime, anche la precisione del controllo è all'altezza delle aspettative.Unico piccolo punto negativo è il design dei tasti che termina a spigolo vivo e a volte, scorrendoci sopra con le dita si tende leggermente a toccarle.

I just got this trackball, first time using a trackball ever, i was delighted by how well this one works. the included wrist rest is really helpful especially for my hnda when on a hard surface, the ball rolls smoothly and with precision, the only slight thing is the scroll ring has a slight wobble to it, but it is not that bad, i am just very particular. but i do really like the scroll ring, i am able to operate the left click with my thumb and right click with my little finger. very easy to use and the optional kensingtonworks software is great, its not needed to use the trackball, but you can set so many options for the 2 programable buttons, the top 2 buttons are great, but you have to be very very precise about clicking both at once when using shortcuts, overall this was an amazing purchase, and i am impressed by the quality of kensington products
