This trackball has the potential to be really good, the overall quality of the device is pretty good and you can tell that a lot went into the design process of the TB550. Herein lies the problem for me though, despite Kensington being very proud of their design process and the ergonomic approach to their products, the trackball is just too narrow and small for my hand and it's something I couldn't escape from when using it. You can have the most innovative and intuitive design in the world but if there isn't enough space for your hand to rest on it's pointless. My hands are not particularly big either but I would assume for small hands this might be fine but for me sadly it wasn't. This is also the same experience that I had with the Orbit with Scroll Wheel and the Orbit Fusion, there just isn't enough usable surface area for your hand to rest on. Besides that the materials used are nice to the touch, the trackball is relatively smooth and the buttons and scroll wheel feel good quality.

He comprado 3; el primero tenía un fallo en el scroll, no se podía utilizar, pero lo pude devolver y los otros dos están funcionando sin detalles, la batería realmente dura meses, con todo y bluetooth, me he acostumbrado a usarlo y realmente me ha liberado el dolor de mi muñeca, lo recomiendo cuando funciona jeje.

The ball sticks too much at slow speeds making it impossible to use for precise work. If you want to whiz your mouse pointer around the screen then it's generally fine.Also, the item description is misleading. This does not have bluetooth, it only connects using the included 2.4GHz dongle.

I was using a Magic Mouse with my Mac and found it wanting. I think the QC is dropping off in Apple accessories. Had a good experience with a relatively cheap track ball mouse; probably Chinese, but when I installed my new Mac Mini M4,I lost my old Chinese trackball mouse and reverted to the Apple Magic Mouse. After a few days of frustration, I looked for a relatively inexpensive trackball and settled on the Kensington TB450 Wireless Trackball Mouse.It was one of my better decisions. It is top quality and very responsive and easy to use. It is also very comfortable as well.I highly recommend it. Maybe the more expensive ones are better, but this Kensington is a good value.

J'étais un adepte du trackball Logitech Ergo mais j'en ai eu deux dont le revêtement caoutchouté s'est transformé en moins de deux en une matière collante et désagréable. Vu le prix j'ai abandonné ce produit.C'est comme ça que j'ai essayé le trackball Kensington. On verra avec le temps mais déjà le revêtement fait plus plastique que caoutchouc. C'est un bon présage.En première impression la forme du Kensington est plus adaptée à ma main que ne l'était le Logitech.Et cerise sur le gâteau il coute deux fois moins cher.Pour l'instant que du bon.Après quelques jours d'utilisation j’ai eu des problèmes de blocage d’accès à l'écran.J'ai repris une ancienne souris et tout allait bien.Kensington m'a remplacé l'article sans histoires.Malheureusement le problème à persisté.J'ai eu l'idée de désinstaller le logiciel de gestion du trackball Kensington.Depuis tout est rentré dans l'ordre.

This trackball offers a comfortable grip, it took not a long time of getting used to after a year of using Logitech M575 shape. It's not worse or better, just a little different. Build quality feels good for the price. The left and right buttons provide pleasant tactile feedback, which I prefer a little more to the silent switches on ProtoArc EM04. The back and forward buttons are easy to click, and the scroll wheel, made of some kind of metal, is smooth and pleasant to scroll. Switch device button on the top is convenient. And ball eject button is better solution that a hole.Battery life is good. Unlike ProtoArc, which required frequent charging, at least once a week considering I switched it off after work, this trackball lasts a long time on a single charge, no need to switch off. I check battery from time to time and there is no noticeable discharge. The only drawback for me is the non-replaceable battery. The TB450 model has a replaceable battery, and it would be preferable to have that option here as well. I don't have any issues with Bluetooth or scroll. It's smooth and match competitors performance.The included software looks inconvenient and heavy (~350mb).I bought this trackball because of it's design and color scheme. It matches my other hardware. But aside from design it's just a good trackball.
