Docking setup:- TB4 cable from front USB-C port to the laptop- Logitech C925e webcam on back USB-A- HP M283fdw printer on back USB-A- Logitech Unifying receiver on back USB-A (for keyboard & mouse)- iiyama XUB2792UHSU on back USB-CThis setup works great and stable on my IBM ThinkPad running Windows 10.However, I also use this exact setup on a MacBook Pro M1 Max 16" running OSX 14 Sonoma. Here the setup is not stable, as my screen starts flickering after a while. Sometimes it works a few hours, sometimes it only works a few minutes, and my screen will start to turn off and back on. Once the problem starts, it repeats every few minutes, and basically it becomes unusable. Then I start trying various things, like plugging cables in and out, restarting the docking station and sometimes rebooting the laptop. After that, it will work for a while, until it becomes unstable again.I read about other people having similar problems.

Ik was opzoek naar een 1 apparaat die zowel de poorten kan leveren die ik nodig heb terwijl ik maar 1 kabel hoef te gebruiken. Ik gebruik twee monitors en daarnaast moet ik mijn laptop opladen. Normaal gesproken zou ik 3 losse kabels moeten aansluiten op mijn laptop, maar dankzij de Kensington hoef ik maar 1 kabel aan te sluiten. Dankzij deze hub kan ik vrij eenvoudig de usb a poorten, sd kaart slot en de additionele thunderbolt poorten gebruik maken. Ik ben er erg tevreden over, het is snel en een alles in 1 oplossing.Verbeterpunt: In mijn situatie heb ik mijn laptop achter de dock geplaatst waardoor de kabel vanuit de voorkant zichtbaar is. Mijn voorkeur was om deze poort op de achterzijde te hebben.

This dock has a very good build quality, as you'd expect from Kensington. However, in operation, it's just too noisy and I couldn't recommend it to anyone because of this. It's apparently a known flaw but I'd like to reiterate this rather negative attribute.

Has all the ports you could want in a very attractive package. However, both the first one I got as well as the replacement I got have horrible coil whine when a laptop is connected, sometimes audible throughout the entire room. Very unfortunate as it makes it absoulutely unusable.

Après un mois d'utilisation, rien à redire:- aucun défaut de stabilité (ni connection, ni alimentation)- laptop branché dessus en permanence avec 2 32 pouces en TB4 > DP- aucun sifflement perceptible comme j'ai pu lire parfois (c'était ma grosse peur car je ne supporte pas ça)Le produit est très bien fini, la dispersion calorifique se fait bien avec la coque en alu.Fait son taff et le fait bien. Service totalement rendu !

I have this attached to my MacBook Air M1. It works perfectly and makes no audible hiss or noise (as referred to by other reviewers). Attached I have my LG monitor via USBC, a HDD for my Time Machine backup and an external SSD enclosure with a WD SN550 NVME inside. This leaves me with one port free on my MacBook, a USB 2 port on the front of the dock, 1 thunderbolt on the rear of the dock, and 2 USB3.2 ports on the back. I have tested all ports and they all work at the advertised speed. The SD slot is really helpful for getting files off my camera without using a dongle. The external SSD hits speeds which are pretty much spot on as if it were connected directly to the MacBook.I went through loads of USBC docks and hubs - UGreen, Anker, Satechi etc and they all had some sort of flaw or quality issues. This is much much more expensive, but I am now glad I spent the extra and have a robust and useable dock.

Sono molto soddisfatto di questo dock.La connessione è stabile ed i dispositivi collegati sono molto veloci.Il fatto che ci siano tre porte Thunderbolt è un vantaggio considerevole visto che molti concorrenti hanno una sola Thunderbolt e le altre sono solo usb-c.Inoltre lo standard Thunderbolt 4 fa si che allo spegnimento del computer anche i disposò collegati al dock si spengano. Anche in questo caso, in alcuni concorrenti i dischi meccanici collegati al dock continuano a girare quando il pc è spento.Unico difetto è il cavo host (quello che va collegato al pc) è posizionato sulla parte anteriore, questo fa si che ci sia un cavo in bella vista molto fastidioso, utile per per collegare il portatile o fare switch tra due dispositivi in modo veloce.Io lo utilizzo con un Macmini e l’ho messo in un rialzo in legno (presente qui su Amazon) con un foro verso la parte inferiore utile per far passare il cavo e toglierlo dalla vista (guardate la foto).In sostanza molto consigliato, tenetelo d’occhio chd ogni tanto raggiunge ottimi prezzi!Ok per Macmini, MacBook ecc.

Habe das Dock seit ca. 3 Wochen im Einsatz an meinem 16" Macbook Pro M1 Max. Bis jetzt tut es seinen Dienst einwandfrei und fällt dabei nicht weiter auf.Ich hatte erst ein Caldigit TS4 im Auge, aber es war mir zu teuer und in den Reviews gibt es berichte von Problemen mit Macs. Dann habe ich weiter recherchiert und bin auf TB4 Docks von Sonnet, Razer, OWC, Hyper und Kensington gestossen. Ich vermute ja die sind alle exakt baugleich. Wenn man sich die Produktfotos ansieht sind alle Anschlüsse identisch. Sonnett, Hyper und Kensington haben sogar exakt das gleiche Gehäuse. Für all diese 5 Modelle gab es durchweg gute Reviews, dann habe ich mir das Günstigste davon geholt, das war in dem Fall von Kensington.Ich verwende es im wesentlichen für die zusätzlichen USB Anschlüsse, habe sogar an das Dock noch ein USB HUB gehängt. Des weiteren hängt an einem Thunderbolt Port ein 4K Monitor, and den anderen beiden Thunderbolt Ports hängen SSD Festplatten (Samsung T7). Der Daten-Durchsatz bei den SSDs ist geringfügig weniger als wenn man sie direkt an mein Macbook anschliesst, aber das kann ich soweit verschmerzen. Mit dem Netzteil gibt es bei mir keine Probleme, Fiepsen höre ich auch nicht. Was mir gut gefällt ist der Ein/Aus Schalter an der Vorderseite des Gerätes, davon mache ich gebrauch wenn ich mein Büro verlasse.Kann das Dock bis jetzt sehr empfehlen, insbesondere für den Preis (Ich habe 268€ gezahlt).
