This is a steel burr grinding mill. This type of mill produces a coarser flour suitable for wholemeal bread. It does a decent job and is well made with polycarbonate body and good quality burrs. If you want to make fine flour the only method I know of is stone grinding which comes with its own issues. Commercial white flour uses only part of the wheat grain and requires sifting out the unwanted parts in course grinding before fine grinding the flour. This is not that type of grinder. It’s for whole wheat and other grains. It is straightforward to take apart and clean using soapy water. You can do chick peas, pepper and many other different items because of the fully adjustable settings. The grinder has been durable in use and is a good match for the motor in the Kenwood Chef. I would be cautious using a speed much above ‘2’ to grind flour as the grinding action heats up the grain and can get it above the ideal temperature at higher speeds. Nothing terrible will happen but it does seem to make a difference in the rise.I have found sometimes grinding twice is better and gives a very much finer flour on the second pass at the finest setting. It is something to experiment with. Don’t over tighten the setting adjuster, there is a limit to how fine you can grind in one pass, commercial flour is often ground multiple times. This is a very easy and reasonably quick grinder to use so 2 or even 3 passes are not a problem if you want too.I’ve tried a few different options and for the money this is very versatile and easy to use and look after. I would definitely buy it again.

Para moler los garbanzos primero los muelo un poco en la 123 de moulinex y luego la paso 2 veces por el molinillo ajustando la molienda un poco más la segunda vez y queda una harina perfecta sin dañar nada.Para hacer harina de arroz lo hago directamente con el molinillo

Pour le café, le maïs, le blé. Il fonctionne très bien et facile à nettoyer.
