Bought this to lift heavy stuff into the garage rafters and loft. I'm not as young or strong as I once was so need a bit of help occasionally. I've made a steel bracket that bolts to the garage floor and can be angled to keep the cable run from the winch straight. I had to cut the hook off and use a caribeana instead. There's a good solid ratchet mechanism that locks to stop the load falling back. The assist ratio is spot on so it's easy to lower any load out of the loft as well as lifting it up. It's also quite small and with the handle removed packs away easily. I wasn't sure at first because it's so compact but it works perfectly for me and is good quality so I would recommend but remember to keep your cable run straight. Useful to have in the garage tool kit.

Pequeño pero robusto, tiene la fuerza necesaria para ayudar en tareas semipesadas, usado con precaución sirve para descenso vertical de ramas u pesos moderados, teniendo el cable siempre en tensión leve, así evitaremos el desenhebrado del carrete, al recuperar cable sin problema gracias al sistema de trinquete o carraca.A mi me resulto muy útil, ahora lo he dejado para mi remolque y darle la utilidad de arrastre horizontal cuando lo necesite en un futuro, no dudo que ira de fabula.
