This towel bar solved a space problem in our very small bathroom, where there was only space for one towel bar, but we needed two. We installed this on the back of the bathroom door in hopes that the towels will dry better on the bars than they did on the hook. If you decide to install on a door, just note that the screws included will probably be too long. They were too long for our door, but luckily we had other ones that worked. This seems like a well-made product, though a bit pricy for a towel bar.

The quality of this towel bar is excellent. It holds 2 full size bath towels perfectly. My husband assured that he screwed it into a wall stud so it is extremely secure. It looks very nice in my bathroom and the swivel function allows the towels to dry quicker when it is spread open a little, but at the same time takes less wall space. Excellent value and quality for the price.

Really well made. The swivel is sturdy and slides with ease while keeping the racks balanced. The material is high quality. The only thing I would add is a silicone coat at the end, to prevent it from hitting or scraping the wall.

What's good about this product is that it is very sturdy and solid and can handle some weight. Another plus for this product is that it differs from other towel racks in that you can mount it soley into a stud, rather than one stud and then drywall, or drywall altogether. I bought this rack specifically for this reason because, the other racks I had kept ripping out of the wall if you put any kind of weight on them. Why is it that the standard width for most towel racks are 18" to 24", when distance between studs is 16 1/4 inches? Anyway.....The drawback is that your towels will be right up against the wall unless you swivel them out at an angle which, to me, is odd visually. I had to make a wooden spacer to mount it so I could hang towels parallel to the wall without the towels touching the wall. It was a simple fix because I have tools but, I don't recommend this rack if you're not a handy person or don't know anyone who is. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this product and would buy it again. I recommend to the manufacturer that they include a 5/8" mounting spacer and appropriately longer mounting screws to make this product more consumer frindly.

If you need a swing arm style towel rod, seriously consider this option. For the two-arm version it only needs two screws and is quite sturdy. No arm sag when towels are loaded. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.
