This is my third arm guard that I have bought and third time was definitely the charm! It's perfect! I got this for myself. I am 5'6 and it fits my food m arm perfectly and protects it the best!I am not the best at archery and I used to get these awful awful bruises on my left arm and with this arm guard.... No bruise! It's comfy because it is so light weight...I barely know that I have it on. And the price was just right! I liked it so much I got one for the hubby and he loves his a well!

Purchased for my son to wear to his archery lessons. He says it most definitely protects his arm, but his instructor says that it can reinforce bad habits. So if you want bad habits and an undamaged arm. This is for you.

I am returning this because of the strap design. It is not that easy to use your free hand to clip the straps on an arm guard, so I want to be able to clip the straps once, adjust them and then be able to slip the guard on and off without unclipping the straps. To do this the straps need to be elastic but in this design only the very short piece that holds the buckle is elastic and does not stretch enough to enable it to be removed without unclipping. Also, it makes it hard to clip on because the long portion which you are pulling on with your free hand won't stretch.I will say that the guard is well made and I do like the buckles because they are smaller and less bulky that the typical 2 side pinch buckles. If they only made the straps elastic it would be great.
