It's a great item and they really thought well about the design. If you hold both ends with something attached to it, there is no way these things come loose, whichever movement you shake 'm in. However, if you pull on both ends just perfectly, they easily slide off. Now, realistically, I don't think this will ever happen on its own, but since it slides off that easily In that scenario, I gave it 4 stars. Mostly because the magnets are not strong enough to hold anything in place once it's able to slide. But, it does what it does and it does it well.
