Love this filter, Great for the price and despite being a bit difficult to screw in sometimes, works well and gives tremendous results.Attached is a comparison of some shots with the K&F 1/4+another 1/4 I had lying around (effectively 1/2) and the other is the 1/2+the K&F 4 star burst from their FX filter pack.As you can see, it gives a superb cine vibe and really softens/glows highlights nicely, I'm excited to reorder these in 72mm when I get my 24-70.Fingerprints are easy to remove, and they let go of dust as good as my $90 tiffen Black Diffusion, which is about what I paid for both this and the FX Starburst filter set.

I was pretty impressed by both the presentation of the filter and the quality. It is very well made and comes in a protective plastic box. Also included are three microfibres cloths which I thought was a really nice addition. The filter itself is a circular polarising filter and the effect can be adjusted by rotating teh filter. I really like the effect and really bings out colours on bright days.

Polarizzatore e Black Mist nello stesso filtro. Filtro costruito in maniera molto sottile, ed è molto evidente questa caratteristica sugli obiettivi grandangolari. Sul mio Canon 15-35 a 15mm non ho rilevato vignettature degne di nota. A cosa serve un polarizzatore? Polarizza la luce, appunto. Quindi rimuove tutti i riflessi o la foschia presente nell'aria ed essendo circolare si può scegliere quanto accentuare la polarizzazione. Ad esempio, nella terza foto potete benissimo notare come si arrivi a "spegnere" le immagini riprodotte dai monitor con una polarizzazione completa.A cosa serve il Black Mist? Serve a creare atmosfera, a dare un look più particolare a lenti molto, troppo nitide, taglienti, perfette. Crea un alone attorno alle luci, come se vi fosse una foschia. Inoltre riduce la nitidezza dei microcontrasti, rendendo ad esempio la pelle del viso meno imperfetta.L'effetto è presente ma comunque non troppo invadente, essendo solo da 1/8.Molto graditi e particolari i 3 panni in microfibra sottovuoto, tornano sempre utili nello zaino!

Good filter for the price. Being that it's a two-in-one filter it works good for both but doesn't excel in either. It is a black mist filter so it does add some softness so it's hard to tell how good the glass is. I typically use B+W filters, but for the use case (and especially the price) this works fine.Great build quality as I've come to expect from K&F and the filter screws on and off easily. The coating seems to help with dust and smudges, but I'm extremely careful with my lenses so I don't have any definitive proof of its efficacy.Overall definitely worth a purchase if you want to experiment with different looks!
