Easy to use and install. I'd been using the ones that require replacing the batteries every couple of years, but this 10 year sealed unit is much more convenient and probably no more expensive when adding in the replacement battery cost of the other. Will only use these going forward.

Utilisé dans un fourgon aménagé, facile à mettre en place. Pour l'instant pas déclenché mais le produit semble être de bonne qualité.

Bought to replace our current one. This one came with the screws and wall plugs needed to put it up on the wall. No turning on required, starting working as soon as you slide the wall plate onto the back of it. Can tell it is working by the green light flashing at the front. Time will tell if the battery lasts for 10 years. Our previous one of a different make lasted around 6 years. We found this to be a competitive price in the sealed battery range. Cheaper ones are available which take AA batteries but we wanted one that we wouldn't have to take down and change the batteries every so often. All this needs is a press of the test button every month to make sure it is working

Can't say for the battery as sealed for life so hoping for 10 years.Instructions are on the back which are obscured once you have slid on the back panel which activates it, so read before putting the back on. Paper instructions are OK but not too clear on the lights and beeping - had to go through the test sequence twice before I understood it.Otherwise nice size to fit above utility room door.
