Good product, but the grit is very coarse when they are brand new. Use them first on old chisels to remove the rough grit. Finish with a polishing compound.

Fair price for a fair product.don't know how long they will last but so far i have sharpened all my chisels, planes and knives and im very pleased.

Smaller than i expected but seem to do the job sharpening well … What do you want for the price would buy again .

I bought these to replace an old sharpening stone which had become worn.I have sharpened wood chisels and plane irons and have been very impressed with the results.I made a base out of a piece of scrap wood and attached the stones to the base so they are readily available to sharpen my tools as and when required.

For the price and size I was expecting them to be as good as they are.I've fixed them to a board with double sided tape and they give a good sturdy sharpening surface, I have just sharpened the blade in and old Stanley number 10 block plane and I am very pleased with the result.Much easier and so much less less that water stones.
