I like this soft, stretchy tie wrap, I find it's much better than twine or string, which can sometimes damage a plant as it grows. I had my doubts at first. I like using that rubber-coated wire to wrap around my plants, but that doesn't seem to last long when exposed to UV, and the rubber coating starts to perish.What I like about this product is that you get a lot for your money. The choices are either 50 metres or 100 which should last the average gardener several years. It is sold in a mesh bag with a handy hanging hook at the top, making it easy to pull out lengths and snip off what you need. The soft, pliable nature of this tie wrap allows it to wrap around my plants while still permitting them to expand and grow.Available in a choice of colours—either brown or green—this is the perfect solution for managing those unruly plants.

Though not exactly what I'd expected - which was plastic garden tie with an inner core of wire - this 100 metre length of 3mm diameter green flexible tubing is nevertheless very useful in the garden and may actually work better than the wired variety on delicate tendrils and climbers. Equally, it's sufficiently robust to allow it to be very widely versatile. It arrives in a net bag from which it's easy to dispense and, with a plastic top closure, it could be hung up in a shed if desired. One reason I'd assumed a wire core is because until now, I'd never come across this product before. This flexible tubing is worth trying and it's UV stable so shouldn't quickly fade in situ.

Bisher kannte ich immer nur Draht zum Anbinden von Pflanzen oder eben Bast aus Naturfasern.Dieser Schlauch ist leicht und dehnbar, schneidet sich nicht in die Pflanzen ein und ist als "Bindfaden" eigentlich ideal. Ich wünschte, ich hätte das schon eher gefunden. Meiner Meinung nach viel besser als Draht.
