Low tack painters masking tape is a type of adhesive tape that is used to protect surfaces from paint or other coatings during painting, spraying or other similar processes. It is available in a variety of widths, typically ranging from a few millimeters to several centimeters.Low tack painters masking tape is commonly used to mask off areas that should not be painted, such as trim, windows, doors, or fixtures. In my case I masked the wall to the edges of the door architrave as it was going to need 3 coats. The masking was a dream to apply and gave a clean edge when removed but did take some of the wall paint when removed, in all honesty I think that was more my fault, I noticed it pulled the pint off in areas where I had filled with easi-fill and what I should have done was primed with zinnser BIN. I did try this on another job and the masking worked flawlessly.
