These are great for my little chicks. Easy to use and clean afterwards. They loved the fruit and salad hanging down in their run, plus it was quite interesting for them to peck at.

They are what you would expect for the price, ones I have had previously, from another supplier lasted a year or so before the threads went so I would imagine these will do the same. It would be useful to have a large plastic washer to go between the food and the wingnut.

This skewer is a handy way to offer chickens fruit and veg off the ground, keeping their snacks clean.However, the small wing nut can be fiddly to tighten, especially on chilly mornings. It’s easy to misplace, and over time, the fastenings have shown signs of rust due to it being used outside for the hens!Despite these minor issues, the skewer is affordable and serves its purpose well. Just keep an eye on that fiddly wing nut!
