This KitchenAid basting spoon is brilliant all around and I have no complaints about it. Even though the spoon is made from a strong, hard plastic; it doesn’t damage the coating on my non-stick pans even with continuous scraping - It’s scratch-free.It does the job in stirring and basting well. I find this spoon incredibly useful for dishing out portions of food into containers for my meal-prep. This is because the spoon is deeper than your average stirring spoon but not as deep as a ladle – it's perfect for me to serve my one-pot dishes, as shown in the photo! The quality is superior – firstly, this is a longer handled spoon so great for reaching into deeper pots, slow cookers and bigger pans. The handle is made from a different material and is comfortable to hold because it’s made from a soft silicone, I also find it easy and confident to grip. The entire tool is robust, sturdy and powerful and I expect it to last a long time due to how well it’s been made.It might just be a spoon but with this you’re investing in long-lasting quality and reassurance it’ll do the job right.

We were very pleased to receive this basting spoon by KitchenAid. The spoon is high quality, Stylish and practical. It is easy cleaned by hand washing or dishwasher. Works well and looks good. Happy and recommended to others.

You can always trust KitchenAid. This soft grip basting spoon feels very sturdy in the hand and safe to use on any cookware. It does not make scratches or marks on non-stick surface. The handle has a rubberized feel when holding so does not tire your hand. The spoon feels sturdy and durable. A very well-made utensil for everyday use.

This spoon is jet black with a charcoal grey handle.It is much larger than any other serving/mixing spoon in my home. It has a deep curved spoon, not as deep as a ladle but much more so than my other spoons, this means it is very useful when serving dishes with sauce e.g casseroles.The spoon is very sturdy, the handle feels quite weighted and comfortable to hold.

Feels solid and looks great. What can I say? It's a spoon. It does the job it's intended to do, and looks good doing it. At around £10, this is an expensive spoon, but one which will no doubt last.
