Im sorry that I even thought this would be good. It’s a plastic piece of work. If the trigger looses grip on a tooth the rapid squeeze is painful when a piece of your hand is is the works. Being a responsible and fairly handy home owner for over 45 years, I've done some caulking! So acquiring a new caulking gun is not a new or exciting event. The backstory on this one, however, interested me. First, it's not metal, it's mostly some sort of nylon so it's not going to rust. The frame is rotatable 360 degrees. I'm not sure how that's going to help ease a job but, there you are. It comes with two caps which seal the open caulk very reliably, keeping the remainder sealed, in the tube, reusable. It also comes with profile pieces that help shape the caulk bead to the surface. Now. I've always been of the opinion that a wet finger is the best tool for this finishing and I'm stickin' with that. While I haven't paid much attention to "Thrust Ratio" (this one is 15:1), I can attest to the fact that, with proper pressure, a very smooth bead of caulk is thrust into the fissure! There. In other words, the tool multiplies your trigger pressure 15 times! Once the job is done and the trigger is released, the dripping starts! Right? Not with this one. A part of the mechanism causes the plunger to back up just enough to prevent leakage and spills. OK That's all great but I've done this before. My wife hasn't. So I handed her the tool, gave her a five-minute lesson, and here's her first bead of well-laid, near perfect caulk! 'Nuff said! It's a five-star for under 20 bucks!

Gun is easy to load and use. The provided nozzle caps are a waste of time. They don't screw onto the nozzle. The main thing I bought it for was to stop excess caulk coming out when i released the trigger. This works better than the standard type gun but there is still some leakage so the functionality is not perfect. Its okay but not a game changer or anything.
